Pure-Therapy is run
by Kate Gilbert, an ITEC qualified registered therapist who has been practising
complementary therapies since early 2009. Having previously worked in the
commercial property industry in the West End of London for 25 years, Kate is very aware of the pressures and stresses involved
in working in demanding professions. She also understands the numerous ways in
which such careers can affect your health and well-being.
Committed to a
holistic approach, Kate has found a life balance through the integration of yoga,
pilates, macrobiotic cooking, as well as hypnotherapy and meditation, before
training in Reiki and then Holistic Massage.
She is currently training in Reflexology (ITEC 2010/2011), to add this
technique to the therapies available.
Kate believes there
is “no one path” to achieving equilibrium but that at some point, an
individual’s journey may unfold - if they are open to the opportunities. By calming the mind and body, through holistic
therapy and empathetic values, she hopes to assist her clients find their way
forward and support them on their journeys.
Kate is particularly
interested in assisting client’s undergoing medical treatment and/or requiring
